Huddle Your House Up for Winter

As Germans start stoking their heating systems in anticipation of the annual winter chill, the federal interior ministry advised property owners to "dress their buildings warm for winter." A display of nine columns topped Trevira fibers made to look like wool caps began it tour around Germany on Monday, Oct. 6, in the southern German city of Esslingen. The ministry said the display is intended to promote environmentally friendly building refurbishment.
