Young Sound Designers Meet in Cologne
Most people have their favourite part about watching a movie or TV show. Whether that be the romance, the good looking -- and talented of course -- actors, or a well written script. But how many people consider the sound track?
Sometimes it’s as subtle as the heavy footsteps of the bad guy sneaking up on the hero in a tense scene of cat and mouse, or maybe it’s as outrageously loud as the explosion when a building blows up. Either way, sound is often what makes movies magic.
There are tens of thousands of people who make the audio happen in audio visual presentations on the screen, the computer, or even in video games. COOL went to Sound Track Cologne (5.0) to hear more.
