 „Echt“ – best translated as “Real” was the motif festival director Rainer Hofmann chose for this year. He had to select from over 350 entries to choose six German language plays and 5 international works.  One highlight this year was a performance by the Swiss artists-ensemble 400asa of playwright Lukas Bärfuss’s play “The Bus”.  In this particular performance the audience is transported literally to a special location where all the action of the play takes place in their midst.
