Magic Mushroom Chocolate Shop Closed in Berlin

Authorities frowned upon a Berlin store's interpretation of the term "sugar high." Police have closed the shop after finding candies laced with hallucinogens.

Chewy caramel anyone?  Or a strawberry lollipop?  Well, if you'd gone into a certain chocolate and sweets shop in Berlin recently, you may have found you'd bitten off far more than you could chew.

Police have closed down a sweets shop in the German capital for selling chocolates and lollipops laced with hallucinogenic mushrooms and marijuana.

Police say they found 120 pieces of magic mushroom chocolate and countless cannabis lollipops, as well as drug-laced honey.

A number of pills, marijuana joints and other drugs were also found in the shop in the Prenzlauer Berg district, an area known for its party scene.

The shop's owner was arrested on suspicion of drug-dealing.

A customer was also taken into custody after trying to buy magic mushrooms from a police officer.
