Forgottten Bar Project Remembers Post-Wall Berlin Art Scene
In the art world, Berlin has gained a name for itself -- with huge exhibition hall spaces like the White Cube or the Kunsthalle -- as well as a myriad of posh galleries with top name artists.
But a new project in the 'off the beaten track' Kreuzberg district, is drawing on a different tradition -- the spontaneous galleries that used to pop up, in all kinds of unlikely places, in the years after the Berlin Wall came down.
EuroVox visits the "Forgotten Bar Project" for an Opening -- and Closing -- Night.
