Whirling Arms the Latest Dance Phenomena
It all started in 2000, when clubbers in Paris started whirling their arms around, in a way never seen before –- fast and wildly. And so began "Tecktonic" -- a new dance style.
Also called "dance electronique" or "electronic dance", this new groove could only be found in clubs -- until until last summer, when it began appearing on streets in France. And this year, it’s also hit the dance floors of Germany -- more and more clubbers in Berlin and elsewhere in the country are becoming tecktonic fans.
COOL meets a group of people who meet regularly in Berlin to practice the new moves -- in a very public place.
